Classic City Rotary Club, part of Rotary International, is a vibrant and fun service organization that supports environmental, youth, music / arts, education, health, and business in the Athens area and around the world.
Service Above Self
Rotary’s motto is Service Above Self, and Classic City Rotary is very involved with local and international service. Each year, our Rotary Club provides financial support to a range of causes and non-profits, as well as “sweat equity” for projects such as making and serving meals with Our Daily Bread; removing trash from our “adopted mile”; recycling Christmas trees; bell ringing for the Salvation Army; mulching at local non-profits; hosting events for/with kids at JJ Harris Elementary School and older adults at Denney Tower; assembling welcome baskets for UGA exchange students; and much, much more.
